On Saturday Eric and I decided to take a little trip up to Columbus to go to the temple. Originally we were going to meet up with Randall, the other student Eric is working with, and his wife. Unfortunately Randall was too sick to meet up with us after all. The temple was great and I love going to the temple with my husband and being able to share that time with him.
After we went to the temple we went to the campus of The Ohio State University to see The Horseshoe. Eric wasn't a big fan of Ohio but it is a huge football school so we had to stop by to see it. We hit the jack pot. It is graduation week on campus so they were doing an open house and letting people going all over the stadium.
The first thing we did was have our picture taken in front of one of the stained glass windows. And then they printed the pictures and gave them to us all for FREE. Next we headed down to the field. We were actually down on the field. From there we headed up stairs. First to the box seats that they rent out to people for $65,000-80,000 per season.
We also saw the University Suites, the press room, the band room and the recruiters room. We were able to see so many places that we would never be able to see even if we went to a home game at the stadium. One of my favorite parts was in the Recruiters Room. They had chairs and couches that looked like football helmets. They were also very very comfortable.
