A Lesson Learned

So last November when the election was coming I heard a lot about really educating yourself before you vote. I was so sick of all the mud slinging that I didn't do that as I should have had for the local leaders. There were names for people for the state and I think there were even names for Iowa Supreme Court Judges (I don't remember for sure). I checked boxes and went on my way. Now here we are with a state that is allowing same sex marriage and I may have voted in a way that helped bring this about. I have to tell you this has been a sobering thought for me and a lesson well learned.
