Modern medicine is a great thing. Last Monday I had to go to the ER because of a ruptured ovarian cyst. When I think about how far medicine has come I am so grateful to live now and not in the past. The doctor was able to do a few tests, figure out was wrong and give me the medication to make sure I was comfortable. Eric thinks I am a bit of a druggie after being so happy on pain killers but after that much pain anyone would be. There were no leaches or bleeding or any other medieval practice in sight.
