Rite of Passage

On Saturday night the College of Podiatric Medicince and Surgery held their annual Recongnition and Rite of Passage. It was one of those long ceremonies where the students who did really well were honored along with lots of professors for things I didn't quite understand. Then all of the second year students put on their lab coats signifing that they had moved on to their clinical phase of their education. They also all stood and recited/read together their student oath, bascially promising not to cheat or kill anyone. It was very formal to to the point of being ridiculous but it was nice to see Eric and his classmates be celebrated for the hard work they have put into the last two years.
