The month of January has come and almost gone. Eric's parents left right after New Year's and right after that came the snow. There has been more snow this month than most people in these parts have seen ever. For a about a week we had to park at the bottom of the hill and walk the last quarter of a mile to our house.
Eric flew to Dallas the second weekend in January to go to interviews. All the students and all of the schools go to Dallas for a week and do all of the interviews there rather than making the students travel any more than they already do. He had one program offer him a position there at interview and two more programs have called since then. We fasted and prayed the first weekend he was back to help us decide which programs to rank where. Now we just have to wait until March 14th to know for sure where we are going.
January also means a move coming up. We leave next Wednesday to head north for a couple of days before I fly to Des Moines for the month of February and Eric goes to Kingston, NY. Eric is able to live for free at the hospital and also eat.
