With being just four hours from Kirtland we knew we couldn't leave Ohio without first heading up there. Our original plan involved leaving Dayton, going to Kirtland and then going to Harrisburg PA all in one day but I knew that was not going to be fun. Instead we left Dayton on Sunday after church and drove to Mentor which is near Kirtland right out side of Cleavland. On Monday we were able to see the Kirtland Temple and the Newel K. Whitney store, home, sawmill and ashery. It was a fun trip and the area had changed a lot since I was there last. Both tours took over an hour to there was no way we would have been able to do the tours if we had tried to travel so much and tour in the same day.
