Washington DC Temple

Our last weekend in Baltimore we had friends come down from Harrisburg PA to stay the night and then go to the DC temple the next morning. Our friends have two little boys so Eric and I were able to watch the boys so our friends could go to the temple. Eric and I ended up not having time to do a session since we had to drive to NY that same day but we were very grateful for the chance to help our friends be able to go to the temple together.

The temple is so big!! One night we had passed in on the free way but we didn't get a good idea of the size until we were there. I am glad for the chance we had to be outside on temple grounds for awhile. Normally when we go to the temple we park, go in, do a session and the leave. The temple grounds were beautiful. There was also a really neat art exhibit being showcased. There were statues of Christ healing people both physically and spiritually made out of bronze. My favorite were the First Vision and the story of Mary and Martha. Eric really like the one of the woman taken in adultery. They were all really good.
