Eric's parents, sister and nephew came the second week of April and we had a blast. The trip included highlights of Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Colonial Williamsburg. It was a whirlwind trip and it was great to see family and show off the East Coast one last time before we move West.
Highlights include:
*watching General Conference at our ward building and enjoying the potluck afterwards
*Eating breakfast at Lincoln's Pancake House across the street from Ford's Theater
*Hitting three Smithsonian Museums in one day (in the rain). We went to the Natural History Museum, Air and Space, American History
*Going to Ford's Theater, National Archives and the National Mall on a perfect spring day
*Completing RevQuest in Colonial Williamsburg twice!
*Participating in an armed mob that marches on the Governor's Palace.
*shopping in Colonial Williamsburg (including trying all of the samples at The Peanut Store)
*seeing the Cherry Blossoms at their peak in D.C. along with "everyone in the country" according to Austin
*lots of movies
*multiple license plate games
*and finally gelato and Italian Pastry's from Vaccaro's Italian Pastries in Little Italy
