Dress Upcycle

A few months ago I went to a swap with some friends. One of the items I picked up was this great purple dress. I loved the skirt but the top wasn't really modest and the elastic around the sleeves and neckline was shot. I decided to cut off the top and add a new one. I had never done anything like that before and I was a little worried I would ruin the dress but I figured I got it for free so I might as well try. It actually went really well and I love the dress now. It is really comfortable.
